Morning LIght-Part 4

Well, I am struggling with this painting right now. Yesterday I spent most of the day trying to get a tree the cub is laying on just right, finally brushed it out and decided to put some rocks. Still not too happy with the rocks. It may be that I should set this aside for a while and start on something different. Let the painting work itself out in my head before I paint on it again. So, don't be surprised if you see something new soon.

A landscape...Ha Ha

When I first started painting I really wanted to paint landscapes. I am not sure if it is all the leaves or rocks or what, but I struggle with them.
This is one I did from a Wet Canvas challenage, everyone paints from the same reference. I tried to stay very loose and not paint every leaf. okay, it is at least a start for me.

Lazy Summer Day

This cat has was fun to paint because of all the hair. I am not sure why I feel the need to paint every single hair but I do.

First for the Summer

I started these parrots at the Art Fair as a demo. I really enjoyed painting their bright colored feathers.

Getting Started!

Even though I have a website featuring my artwork I felt the need to have a place to share with you that was more then a gallery of my paintings. This blog will allow me to journal my thoughts and share my ideas and the process I take when painting. I will be able to post my "fun" learn as I go paintings and show how a painting takes shape and develops, a Work in Progress (WIP)
