Dianna Ponting Workshop

We just returned from a wonderful pastel workshop with the Canadian artist, Dianna Ponting. the workshop was in San Clemente, Ca (so we got to spend some time on the beach too) What a great experience it was for me. It was fun to get together with other pastelists from Wet Canvas and meet them face to face. Her methods of teaching really appealed to me and I will be using them in the near future (already have my next painting ready to go)

Wow, Piper - that is fantastic!!! The cherries look so real, could just reach out and pick one up! And the white bowl look fabulous - wonderful work!

The workshop certainly paid off, can't wait to see your next project! Do you think the techniques you learned will make an impact on your animal-paintings aswell? Will be fun to see what you come up with!
